Feleia is imprisoned by the evil Darth Chemo but she manages to send a
video distress message to Obi Wan Kequena, an old Jedi master, who organizes
an escape plan and revitalizes the rebel forces. But take
note: despite the familiar plot, this is a wildly offensive [adult
18+ only] parody filled with gay and straight sex, explicit nudity (including
more than a few dick shots) plus scenes of very graphic violence and gore.
In Argentina, the
films of Germán Magariños are treated with the same theatrical
fanfare as a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show
but the actual movies are more similar to the early shock cinema of John
Waters. New projects from Magariños' Goretech Studios premier yearly
[December] at the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre Festival where packed audiences
burst into standing ovation for every dirty joke, spurt of blood, protruding
penis or Vic Cicuta's crooked smile. This film was the 2018 entry for
Germán [followed by 2020 Covid 19 Zombi Masacre and
Covid 19 Zombi Canibales del Infierno in 2021].
Germán Magariños has directed 30+ films since 1996, under
a variety of pseudonyms including Roger Franco, Bruno Martell, Lucio Falci,
J. Rollin and Franco Fellini. Interestingly, this was the first signed
under his real name. Mr Magariños initially found International
success with SADOMASTER,
which also spawned a sequel SADOMASTER
2: GENERAL MAYHEM. To date, his most memorable films are [arguably]
ZOMBI
SEXUAL APOCALIPIS, LOS
SUPER BONAERENSES, ALAN
SMITHEE'S FRANKENSTEIN and VIDIO-DROMO.
In 2016, he also directed a music video for the Argentinean punk band
Vedette SS.
