Cheri Caffaro was born in Miami Florida, 1945. While she starred in various other action/exploitation films (SAVAGE SISTERS), she is best known for the GINGER trilogy, each of which were directed by her husband Don Schain. Yes, his name may be familiar to cinephiles. Shortly after his brush with the wildly successful Cheri Caffaro trash, he joined the Walt Disney organization. Over the next 40 years, Don Schain produced a virtual parade of Disney fare including hits like the all the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movies (2006-08). Mr. Schain died from a heart attack in December 2014. Cheri Caffaro, who officially retired from acting in 1997 after doing voice-work on the animated TV series EXTREME GHOSTBUSTERS, is living today in Los Angeles where she owns a honey bee farm.
